Do you even know what GMT stands for? 5th Grade will be exploring time and time zones in the online collaborative Time Zone Experiences project. Come along with them on their adventures in time! In California it is GMT-8 when we are not on daylight savings time (Pacific Standard Time) and GMT-7 when we are on daylight savings time (Pacific Daylight Time). For the time portion of this project, each student wrote a script and recorded a podcast with a partner about what is happening in California at their assigned Pacific Standard Time. They used MyBytes to create music for their podcasts and recorded their script and added their music using Audacity.
